Good shopping
2008-10-13At first time I had to to made a decission which shop I could buy. So the reviews from Amazon were so helpfull for me. This product box includes many parts of camera and accesories. All of them were sent to me safely. Nikon is a pioneer brand for camera industry. It can be use for many people because of the price. It is satisfied for quality/price ratio.
The Nikon D60 is a well established D-SLR camera. It can be used easily and it is ergonomic for using. The kit includes 18/55 lens and this lens is different from the other kits as VR model. The company send me what I need when I use to camera: Memory card, card reader, extra battery, card holder, microfiber cleaning cloth and a original case.
Although it can be buy a UV protector filter, it is better if the filter can be send with the accessory kit.

Great value for the price
2008-09-15I had a good experience with Nikon cameras, had before the N80, this is a good introduction to the digital world.

Great Camera!
2008-08-18I finally decided to buy a Nikon D60 and I could not be happier with my decision. This camera is great and this package deal in particular is exactly what I was looking for. The spare battery, the SD card, and other accessories are very useful. This seller, Cameta Camera, processed and shipped my order extremely fast; the package actually arrived within 24 hours of when I ordered it (without paying extra for expedited shipping.) All of the items I received were in their original packaging, even the camera came in its original Nikon box. This was a really great deal considering how much money I saved by buying it on Amazon instead of a chain electronics store. I have already taken over 500 pictures with my new Nikon D60 and I can't put it down! I am so glad I finally upgraded from a regular point-and-shoot. I love all of the features. The Nikon D60 is a great camera!!

good, but confused..where's the box?
2008-07-03I was happy with the delivery time for it fell within what the company said. I was confused though when the item arrived. It did not have the "Nikon" box I had seen in stores. Have not had time to use the camera yet but expect it to work like a pro that Nikon is.

Audio & Video Connections Guide
" For a list of all the ways technology has failed to improve the quality of life, please press three." - Alice Kahn
This quote is certainly applicable to consumer electronics. From the very first commercially produced radios to the latest in high-definition television technology, the manner in which the components used to deliver our news, music, movies and entertainment are interconnected seems to have escaped logic. For both the newcomer and the old hand alike, connecting equipment in the most efficient and effective manner can be a painful chore. It is hoped this article will improve your background knowledge concerning potential A/V system connection schemes and where each is most appropriate. The next time you find yourself in a "connectivity quandary" perhaps the ideas shared here will help you to quickly solve the riddle of which wire goes where and why!

Driving with a cell phone is a lot less dangerous than driving on prescription drugs
There's a lot of debate today about the safety of using cell phones while driving. Statistics show that those who use cell phones while driving cause a much greater percentage of accidents than those who avoid using their cell phones. And the studies have shown that it's not just the physical coordination required to punch numbers into the cell phone while you're trying to work the vehicle that causes accidents; it's actually the lack of attention resulting from driving and talking on the cell phone at the same time. It seems that when you're distracted, you're more likely to cause accidents.
In terms of public safety, it's probably correct to say that banning cell phones would reduce the number of traffic accidents. But I think, more accurately, it depends on the person. Some people are operating on, shall we say, lower power CPUs in their heads to begin with. They might be zoned out on prescription drugs, and when you add a cell phone to the equation, they do become a danger to the ...
