Product Description:
The Fuji Film FinePix S1000fd's 12x optical zoom lens expands your shooting reach, covering a remarkable focal range of 33-396mm, bringing you close enough to capture subtle expressions. The single built-in lens means you're always ready to shoot, with no need for bulky extra lenses or time-consuming lens changes. Picture Stabilization mode automatically sets the optimum shutter speed and sensitivity for each scene, preventing blur from camera shake or fast-moving subjects, even in low-light situations. Super Macro mode lets you move in as close as 2cm (0.8") making it easy to take high-impact full-frame close-ups. The Panorama Shooting Mode makes it easy to create impressive panoramic photos. This mode captures and combines up to 3 consecutive shots, which are saved to the memory card as a panoramic picture. The FinePix S1000fd automatically detects and corrects unsightly red-eye reflections that often spoil flash photos of people. A large, high resolution LCD with 230K Resolution makes it easy to compose great shots and to see photo details when you play back captured images. The high-resolution LCD can display up to 100 picture images simultaneously in 10x10 array. Use this micro thumbnail view to instantly select specific photos to view or print. A selection of tailored shooting modes provide ideal settings for everything from shutter speed and exposure to white balance. 1/2.3 CCD Sensor File format - JPEG (EXIF Ver 2.2) Aperture - F2.8 - F6.4 (Wide) / F5.0 - F8.0 (Telephoto), max 5 steps in 1/3 EV increment Shooting Modes - Portrait, Landscape, Sport, Night, Fireworks, Sunset, Snow, Beach, Museum, Party, Flower, Text, and PS (Picture Stabilization) Shutter speed - 1/4 second to 1/2000 second in Auto mode Self-timer - 10 seconds and 2 seconds delay Dimensions - Width 4.1 x Height 2.9 x Depth 2.7 (102.5x73x67.8mm) Weight - 11.5 ounces (325 grams)

Replacement Camera
2008-11-16I bought the S1000 to replace an older Fuji camera. I like the shape of the Fuji because it fits my hand better than the cigarette pkg sized cameras. This camera had all of the improved features I was looking for and I liked it enough to buy one just like it for my son.

This Camera Is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2008-11-13I just recived this camera plus a 2GB memory card and the leather case for the camera yesterday. Don't listen to any of the bad reviews on this camera because it is awesome!! It takes the most wonderful pictures with the best clairity you could get with any camera on the lot.
I love it
DS.

Fantastic camera and great value!
2008-11-11I love this camera. I made a mistake by purchasing the Kingston 2 meg card. This camera tries to send too much data to a regular card. You need to get a high speed SD card to utilize this fantastic camera to it's fullest.
I hope this helps you if you purchase this excellent deal!

From Kodak to Fujifilm
2008-11-07I used to use a Kodak Easy Share and really enjoyed the camera for many years. However, for my anniversary I decided my husband should upgrade my camera as we both use it a lot. I liked the look of a SLR so I was drawn to the Fuji.
I just got it and I am instantly in love with this camera. I have been taking pictures of random things just to test it out and it is living up to my expectations. It takes great micro close ups which I could not do with my previous camera. It allows me to take pictures that retain the ambience of the room without harsh flash. It takes the pictures fast so that my pets do not have time to get away....I highly recommend this product.

Horrible Digital Camera
2008-11-03I bought this camera based on other people's review, I guess I was wrong to listen to the opinion of others because this camera sucks. I took it on a trip to Florida and the quality was horrible and the zoom did not even work. I've purchased many expensive camera(s) such as Nikon and I have to admit, don't go cheap because cheap doesn't always offer you good quality photo's. I will never buy another Fuji camera or another cheap one, because it's just not worth my time or value. Lastly, I returned the camera and Amazon was amazing at refunding the full amount I paid for the camera with no problem what so ever.

Why You Should Use A Mini DV Camcorder
Introduction
The mini DV camcorder has many advantages to offer its users. If you enjoy your digital video camera you will also enjoy this. The mini DV camcorder is easier to take with you than the regular sized cameras such as the hi definition camcorder, or the hi-Res camcorder. The size of this camcorder is one of its big advantages. The features this camcorder can offer are also great. Some cameras offer more features than others, so make sure that the camera has the features you want.

Generally when design, performance and technological improvements are made on electronic products there is a reduction in size as well to make them more compact.
For example the early day radios were built in large cabinets and required radio vacuum tubes. Eventually, transistor radios were constructed and were more portable. Today, a radio can be as small as a wristwatch.

Professional video camera
A Professional video camera (often called a Television camera even though the use has spread) is a high-end device for recording electronic moving images (as opposed to a movie camera, that records the images on film). Originally developed for use in television studios, they are now commonly used for corporate and educational videos, music videos, direct-to-video movies, etc.
There are two types of professional video cameras: High end portable, recording cameras (essentially, high-end camcorders) used for ENG and EFP image acquisition, and studio cameras which lack the recording capability of a camcorder, and are often fixed on studio pedestals. Portable professional cameras are generally much larger than consumer cameras and are designed to be carried on the shoulder.
Technology
It is common for professional cameras to split the incoming light into the three primary colors that humans are able to see, feeding each color into a separate pickup tube (in older cameras) or charge ...
