nice and slim, slightly negatively buoyant though2008-03-25
My previous camera + u/w housing was an Olympus mju420 + PT-016 combination, which served me well; the only reason I changed was I wanted to upgrade to the fully shockproof and waterproof 770SW (the 420 was only weatherproof, i.e., it could get wet, but probably won't survive being fully submerged).

I like the PT-035 because it's much sleeker than the PT-016. All the buttons work well, and I was pretty impressed with the mechanicals of it, considering how small the buttons on the 770 are; the PT-035 kind of "re-maps" the keys a little, in terms of layout, but they're all there, and all easy to use.

Two downsides of the PT-035 relative to the PT-016 (which is my main point of comparison):

(1) The lens cover doesn't stay on as snugly, though I remedied that by adding a few stickers around the lens ring, to tighten the fit.

(2) With the camera inside, the whole rig is negatively buoyant, whereas the PT-016 was only slightly negative -- the PT-035 sinks much faster, which means I can't "juggle" it in midwater like I used to do (sometimes) with the PT-016, when I needed to move gear/accessories around my BC. It also means that while I'm swimming, the camera hangs from my BC, and when I go vertical, it kind of bangs against my body (the PT-016 kind of just floated around. I'm still trying to find something small but buoyant enough to screw into the tripod hole or the accessory shoe (on top) to make the whole thing a little less negative -- if anyone has any ideas, I'd sure appreciate the help. :)
Great case2007-11-25
I bought this case for a trip to St. Maarten where I knew I was going on at least one dive. I went on three separate dives and took pictures and video on each one. I had no issues with installing the camera in the case or with taking photos or changing settings underwater. This is a wonderful product that will be used whenever I have a chance to use it.

The camera case worked well, The downside is you cannot use the camera for snorkeling then put in the case even after several hours the camera case will still fog.All controls work great even at 130 fsw.
