great little camera
2008-07-09We have 4 digital cameras, including a Nikon D80 and Nikon S7, and this is always the first we grab if we want basic photos. The colors are speed are great. We couldn't be happier with this product.

Great deal for the $$$
2008-05-29No complaints! Large viewing area, uses & supports most SD cards. Battery life isn't bad either. The only "con" would be that tight/close shots are almost impossible (like 8-12") very blurry. But besides that it'll make ya smile without saying "cheeeeeeese"!

Great purchase for price.
2007-10-02I'm not a pro and like the point and shoot cameras. Everyone has commented on how well my photos have turned out. Outdoor shots turn out particularly well. I also really enjoy the video option. The high quality creates files too large to email and I'm still working on how to convert them to smaller files. The lowest quality video is decent for e-mail but you can't use the zoom or the picture completely degrades. I love the small size, best shot options and large, bright lcd screen. This camera would be great for someone looking to get more interested in and learn more about photography and uploading/emailing to web sites and friends. There are a number of manual settings to play with too. So far, no real complaints. I'm your average Joe photographer but I've been very happy with the quality/colors of photos and videos with this camera. And it's really cute!

great product
2007-09-13This product has everthing you would want in a camera. It is also very easy to operate.after charging, you can take pictures for many days.Great product.

Handiest camera yet
2007-09-04The EXILIM-Z700 7MP is the handiest digital camera I've used yet. The large viewing screen is bright enough that I've never "blacked out" on a sunny day. This is especially important because there is no optical view finder. The controls are well placed and easy to operate, even with large hands (like mine). The 7.2 MP make for a great picture. Another nice feature is the recharging stand/viewer/downloader. Instead of laying the camera down while wires come out of it, this stand holds the camera at a convenient viewing angle for looking through the contents. The battery has a nice capacity so it does not need repeated charges.
The only downside is one of shape. It's so small, thin and light it's easy to lose out of a pocket. That's more the fault of the operator than the camera.

Professional video camera
A Professional video camera (often called a Television camera even though the use has spread) is a high-end device for recording electronic moving images (as opposed to a movie camera, that records the images on film). Originally developed for use in television studios, they are now commonly used for corporate and educational videos, music videos, direct-to-video movies, etc.
There are two types of professional video cameras: High end portable, recording cameras (essentially, high-end camcorders) used for ENG and EFP image acquisition, and studio cameras which lack the recording capability of a camcorder, and are often fixed on studio pedestals. Portable professional cameras are generally much larger than consumer cameras and are designed to be carried on the shoulder.
Technology
It is common for professional cameras to split the incoming light into the three primary colors that humans are able to see, feeding each color into a separate pickup tube (in older cameras) or charge ...
Advantages Of The DV Camcorder
Introduction
The DV camcorder, or digital video camera, has many advantages to offer consumers. Camcorders have come a long way from even the analog camcorder. There are many benefits to using a digital video camera. Some of the advantages that may send you to the store for your own are its compactness, its quality of picture, and its versatility. You can use your digital video camera to transfer your VHS movies to digital tape. You may find that the technology is also much better with a digital video camera.
A camcorder derives its name from its ability to operate as both a camera and a recorder. This electronic piece of equipment has been used by countless families to record baby's first steps, birthday parties, weddings, graduations, etc. These recordings of sights and sounds have provided many hours of family entertainment as well as amusement to television audiences through the capturing of hilarious antics.
Camcorders have evolved over the years. The evolving of camcorders ...
